CAMP 2.0 Launch UpdatesThe much anticipated launch of CAMP 2.0 occurred on Monday, September 30th. The new system has many exciting features including a significantly increased product selection, a clearer understanding of which products are safe to use with Safe and Unsafe lists, and the Quality of Life tracking tool. In the first week, over 3,000 patients logged into CAMP 2.0 for the first time. As CAMP 1.0 patients continue to access CAMP 2.0, they may have questions about the registration process and how the system works. We have identified some of the most common questions that will be helpful in addressing any questions patients may direct to you and your staff: Logging in for the first time:All new CAMP 2.0 users must register for an account the first time they access the system. During the registration process they will add an email and password of their choice. Patients may report that they are not receiving a password reset email, they don’t know their password, or the system is not identifying their codes. In these cases, patients are bypassing the new registration link and are attempting to log in without setting up their new account. Please direct patients to the New Patient Registration Link located on the log in screen of the website or app. Accuracy of Allergen Lists for patients with more than one safe list:We have discovered that patients were in the practice of accessing multiple safe lists with different search codes to view modified lists. In CAMP 2.0, patients register one set of codes to associate with a unique email address. If patients wish to have access to multiple safe lists, they will need to complete the registration process for each set of codes under separate email addresses. Product changes between CAMP 1.0 to 2.0:We have received inquiries from patients wondering why products have moved between their safe and unsafe lists in the new system. Changes to safe lists can occur for several reasons. During the upgrade process many products were updated to reflect the most recent ingredient lists, which manufacturers commonly modify. Additionally, updates to the cross-reactor groups will also occasionally impact the way products appear on the patient’s safe list. Fragrance ingredients not accurately displaying as safe/unsafe:We have received reports that patients with fragrance allergies are finding products inaccurately displaying as safe. The CAMP team is aware of this issue and is actively working to correct the problem as quickly as possible. How to access a printable safe list or list view:CAMP 1.0 patients are used to accessing their Safe Lists either as a printable list or in a “list view” in the app. Both of these 1.0 features are not available in CAMP 2.0 because the product database has significantly increased to 120,000 products and is continuously being updated. Patients can easily find products using the search bar and narrowing their search by selecting specific product categories and sorting by product, brand or most recently updated. The CAMP team is reviewing all feedback to correct problems that may arise and to make improvements on future updates to the system. We greatly appreciate your patience during this transition period as we get CAMP 2.0 fully up and running.
